- Experience: 5 to 6 years
- Responsible for managing store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing
- merchandise. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure
- accurate record-keeping in the inventory management system.
- Monitor stock levels, and anticipate demand to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Coordination with concerned departments for stock availability, oversee stock replenishment
- and manage stock rotation to minimize wastage.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics departments to forecast material
- requirements, plan deliveries, and optimize inventory flow. Communicate effectively with
- suppliers and logistics partners to coordinate timely deliveries and resolve any issues or
- delays.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, receipts, and shipments using inventory
- management software or manual systems. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock
- movements, and material usage for management review and decision-making.
- Enforce safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory
- requirements related to material handling, storage, and transportation. Conduct regular
- safety audits, address safety concerns, and promote a culture of safety among store
- personnel.
- Lead and supervise store personnel, including storekeepers, forklift operators, and material
- handlers. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure efficient and
- effective store operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/ Technical Background (B.Tech in Mechanical) or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role preferably in the manufacturing
- industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive
- approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, Busy Software, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
