Job Description:
We are looking for entry-level Sales Engineer to oversee sales of food equipment/capital equipment within the HORECA sector across India. This role is ideal for individuals with 2+ years of experience in selling equipment to the hospitality industry, who are passionate about building relationships and driving growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the sales strategy for food equipment and capital equipment within the HORECA segment, targeting hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, conduct sales meetings, and understand their needs to offer tailored equipment solutions.
- Manage a pipeline of clients, ensuring consistent sales growth across the Pan-India region.
- Collaborate with distributors, dealers, and partners to enhance market penetration.
- Conduct product presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of the company’s solutions.
- Regularly review the market landscape, keeping up with competitors and trends in the HORECA industry.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
- Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to increase visibility.
- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding market requirements and emerging trends.
- Ensure timely and effective after-sales service and support to maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of experience in the HORECA equipment sales industry.
- A strong network within the HORECA industry and an understanding of the HORECA market dynamics in India will be preferable.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven track record in exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel across India
